Let us introduce ourselves. Denen Grace Chapel was started in the fall of 2001 from a small group that met in the home of missionaries, Kevin and Kaori Laverman. With Christ's great love for us shown on the cross as our motivation, we strive to be a church that makes a difference in our relationships with God, family, church and this world we live in. We believe that knowing God's grace is a life-changing experience and seek to communicate His grace in everything we do.
 

All of our Sunday activities are held at Cozy Hall in Takatsu, Kawasaki, a five minute walk from Mizonokuchi and MusashiMizonokuchi stations on the Denentoshi and Nambu lines respectively. An map is available by clicking above.
 

During the weekdays, various small groups meet in the homes of our church members in Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki; and in Miyamae-ku, Yokohama. In the small groups we have a great time of getting to know each other, singing, praying, and reading God's Word together. Denen Grace Chapel is a Protestant evangelical, family-oriented church. We are part of a network of 80 churches throughout the Kanto and Tohoku areas called the Conservative Baptist Association, Japan.
 

Denen Grace Chapel's programs and activities are open to everyone, no matter what language you speak, what your church background is, how young or old you are, or even whether you have ever been to a church before. We have several English-speaking people and returnees who attend our church. We welcome you as you are, please contact us and let us know about your coming.
