Our popular Gospel workshop at Denen Grace Chapel brings people from throughout the Kawasaki and Yokohama area. Birthed in America, gospel music has become a boom music genre throughout the world. Why don’t you give it a try, too? Gospel is based on the Bible’s powerful good news (gospel means good news). We’ll gently lead you to sing this gospel in an enjoyable and meaningful way. Here’s a great opportunity for everyone that loves to sing. We welcome beginners!

HGF Joint Concert

Our choir (Voices of Grace) is part of the HGF (Hallelujah Gospel Family) network of choirs. HGF currently involves more than 25 choirs across Tokyo, the Kanto area, and northern Tohoku. Twice a year, in June and December, regional choirs come together for a joint concert consisting of several hundred members. Special guest artists and singers are also a part of this concert, including Ray Sidney and friends, wadaiko drummers, gospel dancers, kids gospel choirs, and an assortment of others. These bi-annual joint concerts are always treasured events for gospel choir members. The power of several hundred singing gospel together is a memorable sight and sound you need to experience. Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of it! See videos of the joint concert by clicking above.
